Are dress, and tux rentals included?

Not currently, but local vendors are suggested.

Is the dessert good?

Our go-to pastry chef has over 12 years experience in the baking industry and has been featured in Virginia Bride, Muna Luchi Magazine, Food Network Magazine, and CBS Baltimore. She is the winner of Discovery+ and Food Network’s Cakealikes, and Netflix’s hit show Sugar Rush Christmas. Working with clients all over the DMV, Chef Taylor combines her creative eye for detail, and interesting flavors to create edible art that is not only beautiful, but delicious!

Can I take any of the props home?

Unfortunately, we reuse our props and customize for each couple, so we can’t give them away, but there will be little personalized surprises just for you. So don’t worry, you’re not going home empty handed.

Can I pick my own colors?

Of course! We talk about what inspires you, your story and find ways to incorporate everything into your setup.

Is there a limit to how many decorations I can include?

Yes. While we have our own inventory, and a working relationship with vendors in the area, we work hard to keep everything within a specific budget. If a client’s requests are extremely over budget, we make it clear in the beginning what’s possible.

Is there a penalty to showing up late to our session?

Because our venues are rented, timelines are very important. Our goal is to make things as easy as possible for you.

If you miss or are late to your session, we cannot guarantee that we’ll capture everything on your shooting schedule for the day. We also cannot guarantee that there won’t be a fee for extending your time, or that additional time will even be available in the space we rented.

What if I want to bring more than 8 people?

Because of the agreements we have with venues, we cannot have parties of more than 8 people. An alternative to consider is our traditional wedding photography option.

So is this a ceremony or a photo session?

There’s music, dessert, decorations… but the ultimate goal is to capture photos and video. This is definitely a photo/video session…that feels like a party!

I want to book, but not for this month, can I book for a future sessions?

Of course! It’s actually better to lock in your session early. We are constantly working to improve this service, and prices are not guaranteed to remain the same.
